Police in Peru have caught a gang that murdered peasant farmers and attempted to sell their fat to European cosmetic manufacturers. The gang members that were caught admitted to five killings, but dozens more are suspected.

The fat they harvested was apparently to be shipped to Italy, via intermediaries, where it would end up being used in expensive skin-softening beauty creams.
