Bloggers In Philly May Be Shafted

Let’s take a moment to thank the good lord you don’t live in Philly.
Besides the obvious reasons, if you live in Philadelphia you might soon have to pay $300 for a business license. The logic behind this goes something like this;
If a blog is capable of selling ads (many are), it’s capable of making money. Which is enough for the city to justify calling a blog a business and requiring bloggers to have a license to operate their business.
The new blogger fee is currently under consideration. Source
